Karen was the first Love of my life.  All those memories wash against me from a lost time.  I had found a message from her many years after she sent it.  I was shocked and disappointed, I had not seen it earlier.  I decided to respond immediately, and upon looking up her Email information, I discovered she had passed away from this earth.  She always had a very deep place in my heart.  And though we did not talk for these many years, I still feel a hole in my heart that shall never fill.  The moment I reached out to her, she was gone from this world.  I miss you.  I will forever miss you Karen, until the end of my days.  

I met Karen on a raft trip on the San Juan River in Utah in April of this year. Who would have known that she would die this year?! She was one of the kindest, sweetest, most authentic people I have ever known. In only five days, we became quite close. Makes me realize once again that we must enjoy every day. Do what we can to make the world a better place. I'm sure Karen did just that in every day of her life. My heart goes out to her family and loved ones are always. Thank you Olie for letting me know.
