Lucille Carrillo "Lucy" to all, 79, was born on January 20, 1947, in Seville, California to Jesus L. and Maria (Silva) Ramirez. She went to meet the Lord on August 3, 2026 in Visalia, California. Lucille was a resident of Visalia all her life. Lucy will be remembered with deep respect and lasting gratitude by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Throughout her life, Lucy carried herself with a quiet wisdom and steady integrity—gentle in spirit, honest in word, and faithful in the way she showed up for others. Lucy was compassionate and selfless, offering care without hesitation and giving of herself in ways that asked for no recognition. Her devotion to those she loved was constant, and her hard work was a reflection of the strength and dignity with which she lived each day. Beloved and cherished, Lucy leaves behind a legacy of love expressed through steadfast presence, thoughtful guidance, and enduring kindness.
Lucy is survived by her husband, Nazario Carrillo; her children, Victor Carrillo, Gloria Torres, and Maria Lemus; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Phyllis Encinas, Cecilia Mendez, Rita Encinas, and Ray Ramirez.
Lucille was preceded in death by her father, Jesus L. Ramirez; her mother, Maria Silva Ramirez; and her siblings, Lupe Contreras, Jenny Garcia, Jesse Ramirez, and Joe Ramirez.

Visitation will be held for Lucy on August 12, 2026 from 4PM to 8PM at Miller Memorial Chapel 1120 West Goshen Avenue, Visalia, California with the Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church 1908 North Court Street, Visalia, California followed by Interment at Visalia Public Cemetery 1300 West Goshen Avenue, Visalia, California.
