Margie is survived by her three daughters, Celesta Pappas-Bosés of LaCanada, CA, Laura Hodge of Visalia, CA and Mary Lakey of Los Osos, CA. Margie leaves 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and two other grandchildren.
Margie was born on April 28, 1923 in El Dorado, Arkansas. She married Phillip E. Hodge March 26, 1949 in Westover, MA. Margie was a dedicated wife and mother. She traveled extensively as an Air Force Officer’s wife and later lived abroad for many years when her husband worked for Lockheed International. In retirement, Margie enjoyed gardening, quilting and spending time with her extended family. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 9 a.m.at the Visalia Public Cemetery. Celebration of Life services will follow at 10 a.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia, CA.
