Maria Rosales de Mercado, born in Mexico City, Mexico on August 22, 1954. The youngest of 5 siblings Maria immigrated to the United States in 1986 to be with her husband Pedro Mercado. They lived and worked in the small town of Kimberly Oregon and later moved to Visalia California where she would spend the rest of her life.
In 1992 Maria opened her mind and heart to the teachings of our lord and savior Jesus Christ through a Jehovah Witness Congregation which she fully embraced and actively preached her beliefs. When not serving Jehovah, Marial loved spending her time catering to her vegetable and flower garden, specially pruning and cutting her favorite flowers; Roses.
Maria is survived by three wonderful daughters; Arely, Nereida and Erida Mercado and by the time of her passing, six beautiful grandchildren; Angela, Kaylin and Kamila Quevedo and Sebastia & Jacob Figueroa, and Elijah Ford whom she loved and adored. Maria loved her family and never a dull moment in their presence, and altho thousands of miles away from her loved ones in Mexico she embraced every opportunity to talk to them.
Maria was a child at heart, loving every minute playing and running around with her grandchildren. She was loved and will be dearly missed until we all meet again.
