Mildred L. Woods

Mildred Woods was born June 24, 1928 in Kibler, Arkansas to James T. and Julia M. Bushong. Mildred left this earth on Valentines Day February 14, 2012 to meet her beloved husband, Paul who passed away in 1970.

Mildred did her schooling in Van Buren, Arkansas

Mildred retired from Ensign’s dress shop after 10yrs. She loved reading, cooking, and doing yarn crafts. She was a resident of Redwood Springs but was very active in meeting and making friends.

Mildred is survived by her Daughters, Linda Stone of Visalia, CA, Kathey and David DeSantis of Tracy, CA; Sisters' Juanita and husband Scott Richardson of Van Buren, AR, Julia Coleman of Van Buren, AR; Niece Paula and husband Glenn Boothe of Fresno, CA; Grandsons, Paul Stone of San Francisco, CA, Andy DeSantis of San Francisco, CA, Matt DeSantis of Tracy, CA; Granddaughter, Chrissy Stone of Visalia, CA; and Great Granddaughter Kelley Widener of Visalia, CA

Mildred is predeceased by her Husband’ Paul C. Woods; Parents James and Julia Bushong; Sisters Grace Nelson, and Hazel Neal

Visitation will be held Tuesday February 21, 2012 from 9:30-11:00am at Miller Memorial Chapel, Visalia, CA

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday February 21, 2012 at 11:00am at Miller Memorial Chapel, Visalia, CA. Followed by the burial at the Visalia Cemetery
