Olga Rosemary Escalera

Olga is survived by her life-partner Mario Martinez, sons Samuel Escalera and Vincent Medina, daughters Shelly Escalera, Veronica Williams, Jasmin Aguilar, and Grace Martinez, and siblings Alicia Lawson, Jessie Cuevas-Andrews, Justina Cuevas, Maximiliano Cuevas, Hermelinda Herrera, and Anna Cuevas Jimenez, 21 grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Narciso and Eulalia Cuevas, and her brothers Robert Viaz and Edward Cuevas.

Olga grew up in Lindsay, CA, where she also raised her own 6 children. A hard worker, Olga was dedicated to caring for those around her and had a special way of touching the lives of her friends and family with her kind heart, unfiltered honesty, and sense of humor.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 12 at 10:30am at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia followed by inurnment at Lindsay Strathmore Public Cemetery. A reception will be held at China’s Alley Restaurant of Lindsay for friends and family to continue the celebration of Olga’s life.
