Olivia Margaret Surratt, 97, was born August 10, 1928, in Oklahoma, and passed away July 16, 2026. A longtime resident of Visalia, California, Olivia carried herself with steady dignity and a deep devotion to those she loved, meeting each season of life with quiet determination and a spirit ready for the next horizon.
In her youth, Olivia moved to Visalia while in high school and attended Redwood High School. Those early years helped shape the strong work ethic and purposeful resolve that would remain hallmarks of her life, as she built a home grounded in commitment, perseverance, and care for family.
Olivia shared her life with her husband, Marvin O'Neal Surratt, and found her greatest pride in her family. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Berry. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Surratt. Olivia’s legacy continues through her grandchildren—Sherri Salazar, Phillip Berry, Chris Surratt, Charlotte Prinkki, Christine Cozzi—and her 15 great-grandchildren, each a living testament to the family she so faithfully cherished.
Olivia’s sense of adventure showed in the simple, enduring pleasures she loved most: camping, and playing cards with friends and family—moments marked by companionship, laughter, and the comfort of being together. She also valued fellowship beyond her home as a member of the Moose Lodge, where she maintained meaningful connections within the community she called home.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Westgate Gardens for their care and support.
