

Paul was an extremely vibrant man with a wonderful British humor. He was born in England to his parents George and Ada Hodder and was the youngest of four boys. Paul was an avid WWII enthusiast. At 16 yrs. old, he visited the Normandy Beaches for two weeks with a school friend and won a contest for the best WWII paper. He was an adventurer at heart, living life to the fullest with his wife, Mary-Ellen Hodder, for almost 30 yrs. He was also a very kind and loving man. After moving to the U.S. from the Middle East/England, one of his life’s dreams was to operate his own company, which he ran successfully for 20 yrs. He was a distinguished member of the ISA for 20 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Ada Hodder, brothers; Gerald Hodder (Betty), Peter Hodder and stepson, Richard Carno.
Paul is survived by his wife, Mary-Ellen Hodder, daughters, Ayla Anthony and Amy Hodder-Warren, stepdaughters, Mary Cay Albert (Brad) and Laura Carno (Bill) and his brother, Jeffery Hodder. He is also survived by 4 grand-children and 4 great-grandchildren. He also has an extensive family in England, especially David Hodder (Jane) and Mike Hodder (Marlene), many cousins, great nieces and great nephews.

A Memorial Service will take place at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 West Goshen Avenue, Visalia, CA at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2023.
