Our Dear Mother, Paulina A. Hernandez, has received her wings and met her Heavenly Father on May 28th, 2022 at the age of 83. She was surrounded by her loving husband of 60 years, Pete Hernandez, and her caring family throughout her life.
Paulina was born in Culiacán, Sinaloa to mother Petra Lopez, and father Pedro Angulo on February 10th, 1939. She was one of ten children. As a young adult, Paulina moved to Southern California and met her husband, Pete Hernandez. They established their home in Rosemead, California and later married in 1962. They raised four daughters, Alice A. Hernandez, Alma Guzman, Lucy Gonzalez (Rocky), and Eva Hernandez. Their children blessed them with 9 grandchildren, Issac, David, Katie, Candice, Jasmine, Bianca, Kennedy, Peter, and Desiere, and 13 great-grandchildren.
In 2005 Pete and Paulina moved to Visalia, California, and have lived as next-door neighbors to the Gonzalez Family for 8 years. Throughout this time Paulina enjoyed spending time with her husband Pete going to casinos and racetracks, her loving family, attending mass, and going for coffee runs.
Paulina's loving memory will be carried on in the lives of her family who will treasure her and miss her deeply forever in their hearts.
Viewing will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 West Goshen Avenue, Visalia, California 93291 on Thursday, June 16th, 2022 from 5pm - 7pm. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life at 7pm. Paulina's final resting place will be at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 South Workman Mill Road, Whittier, California 90601. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 21st, 2022 at 1pm.
