Richard Byrd

Richard was born in Lexington NC March 11, 1945 to Everette E. Byrd and Cordia Tiberi.

He was raised by his step-father Donald Berry. He did most of his education here in CA and after graduating he joined the Army. He served from 1964 to 1967; he was an E-5 and was awarded the expert rifle award. Richard was a paint contractor for 20years and when he wasn’t working he was playing with his dogs which he loved or fishing. He will always be remembered as a loving and caring family man and a workaholic in his younger years.

Richard is survived by his wife Donna Byrd (McPhee) of Visalia, CA, mother Cordia Tiberi (Oakley) of Corona, CA, step-father Donald Berry of Upland, CA, sons Steven R. Byrd of Corona, CA, and Richard C. Byrd of Visalia, CA, Sister Taroma G. Byrd of Corona, CA.

He is preceded in death by his father Everette E. Byrd and Brother Stephen C. Byrd
