Richard Contreras

Richard was born in Phoenix, Arizona. He came to California at 1 year old living in Modesto until 2004 when he moved to Visalia. He was going to school to get his high school diploma. Richard was living in Tulare at the time of his death.

Survivors include his father, Raul Contreras of Tucson, AZ, mother, Margaret Vasquez, Modesto, companion, Sarah Murillo, Tulare, children, Richard Jr.and Jazzlyne; brothers, Albert & Antonia, Artie & Cassy, Raul & Laura, all of Visalia, Anthony and Angel in Modesto; sister, Vanessa of Modesto; grandparents, Joseph & Lydia Vasquez, Visalia; nephews: Adam, Joseph, and Artie Jr., many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Rosary will be prayed on Friday, April 8th, 7:00 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel with Mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Saturday, April 9th, 9:00 a.m. Visitation starts at 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel on Friday.

Interment will be at a later date.
