Robert "Bubba" Maldonado was born on July 15, 1963 in Visalia, CA and welcomed into heaven on June 10, 2022. He lived in Visalia for over 50 years; graduated from Redwood High School in 1981, and attended Loyola Marymount University and College of the Sequoias.
Robert is preceded in death by his beloved parents Balente and Juanita Maldonado and brother-in-law Luciano Padilla. He is survived by his brothers, Richard (Elaine), Arthur "Art" (Becky), Manuel (Terri) and sister Elissa Padilla; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews & nieces, and cousins that he loved so much.
Robert loved sports, especially baseball. He was a die-hard San Francisco Giant Fan, and in his youth excelled in the sport as an excellent pitcher. He was also a fan of old movies, and couldn’t wait to watch the Hallmark Christmas movies every year. He also had a love for music and would casually sing and play his guitar to keep his spirits high. What he was known for most of all was his love of animals— especially dogs and cats. He would often prepare homemade meals for his two Miniature Pinscher dogs, Rico and Akari. When his dogs eventually passed away, he started to care for and befriend a local cat colony around his home. Rico and Akari, along with all the other pets he's cared for over the years, were the first to welcome him in heaven; all happy and healthy again.
Rest In Peace brother AKA Bobby, “The Bob”, and our Bubba. You will be dearly missed and forever be remembered in our hearts.
