Roland Gendron passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, in Reedley, California. He was born on May 19, 1938, in Montreal, Canada, to Joseph and Jeanette Gendron.
In 1959, Roland moved to Pasadena, California, beginning a new chapter in his life. Two years later, he returned to Canada to marry the love of his life, Gisele Beaulieu. The couple settled in California, where they built a life rooted in family, love, and shared adventures.
Roland was deeply proud of his Canadian heritage and was an avid fan of the Montreal Canadiens. His passion for hockey never waned. Professionally, he worked as an Accounting Clerk at Dairyman’s Corporation in Tulare for 20 years—a role he approached with dedication and pride.
Upon retiring, Roland and Gisele embraced their love of travel, embarking on RV journeys across the country. Among their favorite destinations were Pismo Beach and summers spent in Montreal, reconnecting with their roots and loved ones.
Roland is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Jeanette Gendron. He is survived by his devoted wife, Gisele; son Daniel Gendron (Dawn); daughter Chantal Nguyen (Thuong); and beloved grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brothers and their spouses, along with many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember his warmth and humor.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Roland’s memory.
