Rosemary Gallardo

Rosemary attended Pacific High in San Bernardino, CA. After high school, she worked with children at a childcare center called Casa Ramona. Later in life, she took a job as a machine operator, then later she took to working for California Pretzels.

In 1980, she moved to Visalia, CA. It was at this time that she met her husband, David Mendoza. Together they raised three boys, David Jr, Robert, and Richie. She was a loving, caring, hospitable person. When you visited her home, always offering refreshment or going to get takeout.

Rosemary enjoyed family gatherings, celebrating her children's birthdays and of course listening to her 'oldies'. She played her scratchers trying to win some luck and at times she would hit a few jackpots. She loved baking cupcakes, had to have those sweets. When she could no longer stand, she taught her husband how to make different meals. One time she told him to take some food to her sister. I could honestly say, it was a pretty good meal. She taught him well.

She was as real as they get with a big heart. She was true to herself not worrying about what other people thought about her or anything like that. She was the boss and anything she said goes. She lived her life her way. She would listen to you and just when you thought she was going to give you some grand advice, she would bust out with a big joke that had you laughing until your stomach ached. She was truly a gem.

Not only was she a ROSE, that grew up through the concrete, but she was sweet like the flowers in bloom.

We love you Mom. You will forever be in our hearts with warmth and joy. We will miss your laughter, smile and kindness. Love all your boys.

Rosemary is survived by her husband, David Mendoza, and her sons; David Jr, Robert, and Richie all of Visalia, CA. Also, grandsons; Noah (Nebraska) and Damien (Visalia) sisters; Esther Bermejo (Tulare), and Bertha Soto (Mando) Victorville, CA, brothers; Rudy Gallardo (Norma) Highland, CA, Albert Gallardo (Myra) Highland, CA, and Henry Zamora Jr of San Bernardino, CA. As well as, many nieces and nephews.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; Alberto J. Gallardo and Alice V. Gallardo. As well as, her brother, Ralph Gallardo.
