Jimmy Moreno was born May 01, 1931 and went home to be with Jesus on November 15, 2010 at the age of 79yrs old. He was Born to Monico & Leonicia Moreno in the City of Artesia, NM.
Dad was enlisted in the United States Marine Corps from March 1952 - March 1954, He received the National Defense Medal & was discharged as Honorable. He worked as a Master Carpenter over 60 years. He was employed by Max Caldwell, Buhl & McIntosh Construction, Buhl Construction. He was a Decon at Cathedral of Love Church, and also with New Life Christian Center.
He will be greatly missed, he was a wonderful Husband, Great Father & wonderful brother & a friend to many. Our father loved our Lord Jesus Christ. He dedicated his life to God by restoring and constructing buildings throughout Visalia, Ca to win souls for Christ.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Mary Lucille Moreno. Also preceded in death by his siblins: Demetria Banuelos, Paul Moreno, Rey Moreno, Lupe Quesada. He's survived by his Wife: Rosie Lara Moreno of 51 years. He's survived by his 5 sons, Jim Moreno, Jr. & wife Lydia, Dennis Moreno, John Moreno & wife Frances, Marlene Moreno, Christopher Moreno, Mark Moreno, all from Visalia. Survived by Siblings: (Agapita Dorado, Mary Mendoza, Jesse Moreno, Robert Moreno, Lorena Valasquez). Survived by: 20 Grandchildren & 1 Great Granchild, numerous Neices & Nephews.
Service: A Wake service will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel on Monday, November 22, 2010 at 6:00pm. Funeral services will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 10:30am.
Visitation: Miller Memorial Chapel from 2pm until 6pm on Monday, November 22, 2010.
