

6/28/1979-1/30/2023 Scott Edward Nash was born to Cynthia and Larry Nash of Visalia, California on June 28, 1979. Scott lived in Visalia his entire life. He graduated from Redwood High School in 1997. As a teen, Scott became accomplished in the martial arts discipline of Shou Shu. Obtaining a third level Brown Belt, Scott also was a Shi Hing, a Junior Instructor. He enjoyed demonstrating his skillful, and sometimes frightening techniques, to family and friends. Scott’s employment history included various warehouse positions in Visalia and Clovis at distribution hubs such as D & H Distributing, JOANN’S Fabric Warehouse, Best Buy Distribution Center among others. Scott was notorious for his quick wit and clever repartee. For those not familiar, Scott’s humor could be easily missed. But for those who knew him, a well-timed look or raise of an eyebrow by Scott could result in hilarious laughter. A natural artist, Scott enjoyed drawing, tinkering, and making original creations from many media sources. Scott is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Neal and Earlinor Odom of Visalia, California, and paternal grandparents, Ed and Edna May Nash of Union City, Tennessee. Immediate surviving family members include his mother, Cynthia Nash of Roseville, California, his father, Larry Nash, his son, Reese Ward and daughter, Lily Nash, all of Visalia, California, his sister, Shannon Nash of Simi Valley, California and brother, David Nash of Oakland, California. Others that will miss Scott’s light include his Aunts, cousins and dear friends. A celebration of life for Scott will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Visalia Veterans Memorial Building located at 609 W Center Ave, Visalia, CA 93291. The celebration will begin at 1:00pm.
