Sylvia Maria Garcia, 72, of Visalia, California, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born May 22, 1953, in Mexico, Sylvia was beloved, compassionate, hard-working, honest, generous, gentle, kind-hearted, loyal, and thoughtful, and her presence brought comfort and steadiness to those who knew her.
Sylvia worked as a CNA for 40 years, serving others with dedication and care throughout her long career.
Sylvia was married to Fernando Garcia. She was very generous, giving, and loving, and she will be missed by all who had the privilege of sharing life with her.
She loved reading, crocheting, and playing games at the casino. She also dearly loved her little dog, Fiona.
Sylvia is survived by her sisters Martha Erwin, Dona Siler, Carmen Guthrie, and Irma Peratta, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by Roman and Isabel Macias, Roman Macias Jr., Pete Macias, and Fernando Garcia (husband).
