Thanhhuong (Helen) Le Dao, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away unexpectedly on February 12, 2024 in Visalia, CA at the age of 62. She was born in Vietnam on October 25, 1961 to Ly Ngoc Dao and Thoi Thi Hoang.
In 1981, she relocated to the United States with two of her younger brothers where she met her future husband. Together, they moved from Texas to Kansas where they had 2 kids. In 1984, they made their way to California and had their 2 youngest sons. The family moved from the Bay area to Garden Grove along with several small cities for a short time period. After years working as a manicurist, she was able to achieve her dream of opening her own business; a nail salon in Visalia in 1992 where she resided for the remainder of her life.
After more than 25 successful years as a business owner, she retired in 2019 to spend quality time with her kids and grandkids. Her love for the Lord and unwavering faith was evident in everything she did in life. She was a devoted Catholic and was a long-time parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed having families and friends gathered at her house to eat in joy and laughter. She took pride in nurturing her vegetable garden, fruit trees and flower bushes during her free time. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandkids who brought her immense joy and happiness. Throughout her life, she was devoted to looking after the needs of those she loved with unfaltering dedication. She will be remembered for her unconditional love and support, her faith, her selflessness, her strength and perseverance, generosity, kindness, patience, and her steady commitment to her family.
She is survived by her loving children; daughter Van Munoz, son Hieu Le, son and daughter in law Trung and Megan Le, and her loving grandchildren; Alexis Munoz, Alexander Munoz II, Jillian Le and Paige Le. She is also survived by her brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will all forever treasure her memory. She is reunited in heaven with her youngest son Viet Le, her mother and father, and her oldest sister.
