Morris was well known as a gardener, but what he loved more than flowers, was seeing his students flourish and flower.
In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family has established a memorial scholarship fund.
Bon Mot, the Morris Knudsen Scholarship, pronounced "bon mo" ~ sounds like "Good Mo" ~ but actually means a well-chosen word.
The first scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student in the spring of 2015.
