Virgil Edwin Rogers

He was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Lennie Dell Rogers.

In 1940, Virgil and Lennie moved to California where Virgil was a dairyman, farmer, rancher, and trucker until 2014.

He loved gospel music, watching baseball games, and car races.

Virgil was a generous man and contributed large donations to his favorite Faith organization and Political Party.

He is survived by his children Ronald, Larry, Linda, James, and Edwin and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday December 4, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave & N Giddings St, Visalia, CA 93291.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to your local Salvation Army, Virgil's favorite charity.
