

A longtime resident of Tulare County, Wanda was known for her kind heart, quiet strength, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She worked as a warehouse worker, earning the respect of those around her through her dedication and strong work ethic.
Wanda cherished time spent with loved ones and enjoyed attending powwows, where she celebrated her Native American heritage. Proud to be one-half Choctaw, she embraced her heritage throughout her life. She will be remembered for her compassion, wise advice, warm spirit, and her ability to make everyone feel welcome and heard.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Tina Marie Elliott; her parents, Charlie Chun Hampton and Vineria May Hampton; and her siblings, Vernon, Diane, Joanne, and Elizabeth.
Wanda is survived by her longtime partner, Jimmy Staton; her loving children, Wanda Renee Elliott and Justin Stanley Elliott; along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren extended family members, and dear friends.
Wanda's love, kindness, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
