Wayne Edward Cargill, of Visalia, CA, 71 years old, was welcomed into heaven on December 15th, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on April 18th, 1950, to his father, Herman Joseph Cargill, and mother, Edith Mae Hull, both of Oklahoma. Wayne attended Redwood High School and graduated with the class of 1969. After graduation Wayne followed in his father's footsteps and joined the U.S. Armed Forces. He successfully completed the Air Force's Jet Engine Mechanic Course and became an exceptional jet engine mechanic and trainer. He serve two terms with the Air Force and in 1979 Sgt. Cargill received his honorable discharge. Wayne enjoyed morning walks with his life companion and best friend "Puddles" his German Shepherd of 9 years who he would often refer to as his "kid" and would say, "my kid has four paws, fur & barks!"
He will be remembered for many things including his kindness, strength, humor and determination. Wayne was a true gentleman with a big heart and often made simple donations to several charities. He was the true definition of a devoted & loving son who without question put his life on hold to care for his mother when she fell ill; so she could receive the around the clock care she needed and from that of a loving son. Those that knew him knew he was a simple man, and his kindness, humor, friendship will not be forgotten. Wayne was full of surprises and knew how to make someone smile. Those close to him are deeply saddened, as Wayne would say, "all net".
