William Douglas Cross

William was born in Visalia and attended George McCann, Sierra Vista, Divisadero, Mt. Whitney, and College of the Sequoia. He worked for Kraft Foods/Knudsen's in Tulare and Visalia for 21 years and Plastic Specialty In. West (PSI West) in City of Industry for 17 years before that. William retired December 1, 2016 and was very active in the Laryngectomee support group, WebWhispers, helping others

William was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Robert F. Cross; brother, Robert F. Cross III; and sister-in-law, Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Peggy Cross; children, Aubin Bryant and Brandon Cross of Visalia; sister, Jane Shepard of Visalia; grandchildren, Tyler, Kaleb, and Laney; father-in-law, Ray Perkins; mother-in-law, Betty Perkins; sisters-in-law, Joann Carson and Jerilynn Davidson; and brothers-in-law, Johnny Carson and Avrum Shepard; and multiple nieces and nephews.
