William “Dameron” Russell was born on September 13, 1978 in Visalia to Denise and William Russell. Due the unfortunate death of their mother in 1989, Dameron and his brother, Justin resided with their uncle and aunt, Rick and Cynthia Logan.
Dameron was active in sports as a youth which included baseball and football. He participated in sports in elementary school, playing in little league and Pop Warner football. In junior high school he played baseball and football.
Dameron liked to hunt and fish with his cousins and especially liked the hunting trip to Montana with the family and camping out in the mountains or going to the beach.
Dameron attended schools in Visalia and graduated from Golden West High School.
After high school Dameron went to work splicing phone cables for several different companies and was last employed as an electrician for the City of Lindsay.
He will be remembered most for his unique sense of humor and infectious smile. He had the unique ability to make you laugh at any given moment. He enjoyed interacting with his nieces and nephews, teasing and playing with them on a regular basis.
He is preceded in death by his mother Denise; his sister, Ambra and father, William.
Dameron is survived by his brother, Justin; his grandmother, Bette Johnson and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is loved very much and will be missed by all. He is now with the Lord and reunited with the loved ones who have preceded him.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia.
