Grandpa, I was so blessed to be called your Grand daughter. I have so many memories of being out at your house, spending nearly every weekend. We played house under the trees, watched so many cartoons and always snacks, snacks and more snacks from Grandma! 
I loved sitting in your chair or in your lap and talking and especially watching you draw. You were such an inspiration to me to draw and paint. I thank you for passing down that love of art and creativity. As I became an adult I enjoyed our art conversations even more and felt even closer to you because of that common interest. 
I will always treasure the sweet last conversations we had before you left us. 
I love you Grandpa, I wish had even more time and you will be dearly missed!

Rest in peace Uncle Doug, may the Lord bless you and your family as you walk threw the gates of heaven! I shall always remember you with a smile on your face and happiness in your heart and I'm so great full that I made that over due trip to see you all ;) Today, Tomorrow and for Always, Love you, Linda Smith-Dekens

I will always love you grandpa. You will forever be In my heart. I have so many amazing memories. You taught me so much and you will always be a hero to me. I praise God each day that you are my grandpa. I pray that I know that I will see you someday in heaven. I love you!!!

I didn't get the chance to spend a lot of time with William but I enjoyed every single minute that I got to know him. Every time I visited with him he always had a very fun and interesting story to tell me. He was a very kind and sweet hearted man and I do wish I could have known him longer then I did. He will truly be missed by me and many others but I am thankful for every opportunity I had to spend time with him, And I am glad to know that he is with God now.

my daddy william douglas treece was a great father and grandfather. William Treece taught his 2 children some very unique things that only a good father can teach his children and also taught each and every one of his grand children very  special things. He had taught his drawing and painting art to               some of them also. He also taught his art of guitar playing and singing. When 
me and my brother Willie were little he used to get all the musical stuff and the mic's out and we would all get out in the front yard and sing and play till our hearts were content. We had a wonderful child hood full of love from my daddy and momma. So thankful he went to be with our Lord and Savior Jezus Christ.
