PELION – Layla Annette Lundy was born June 20, 2016 in West Columbia, SC. She was the daughter of Phillip and Kimberly Campbell Lundy. On August 4th Layla traded her Rett Syndrome Warrior Cape for her angel wings. She was such a sweet, special girl who had the ability to both captivate you and talk with her eyes.
Layla is survived by her loving parents, Phillip and Kimberly Lundy; brother, Cooper Lundy; sister, Serenity Lundy; paternal grandparents, Rachel and LeGrande Baker; maternal grandparents, David and Shannon Campbell; great-grandmother, Frances Terzak “Mawmaw”; great-grandmother, Barbara Shugerts “Meemaw”; great-grandparents, Atonia and Bob Walpole; great-aunt, Fran Livingston; aunt, Carmen (Jarred) Baker; uncle, Patrick (Betsy) Lundy; aunt, Sharon (Charlie) Williams; aunt, Amanda Campbell; uncle, Chance Davis; aunt, Whitney Lee and all of her cousins, Alexas, Paisley, Alyssa, Layna, Ramzey, Xander, Aubrey, Austin, Zack, Judy, Virginia, Khloe, Emma, and Savannah. She was predeceased by her great-grandfather, Gene Campbell “Grey”.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. Graveside service to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2019 in Southland Memorial Gardens.
