Annie M. Larimore

WEST COLUMBIA – A memorial service for Annie M. Larimore, 83, will be held at 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Hulon Greene Clubhouse, 900 Poinsett Place, West Columbia, SC. Annie was born November 23, 1928 in Hillsville, Va. and passed away on April 26, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Nathan and Betty Davis.

Annie later moved to Washington DC where she met her husband, Russell G. Larimore Sr. After the completion of his service in the Navy and the birth of 2 of their children, they returned to Michigan where they lived until 1985. Annie enjoyed snowmobiling with her family and was an avid square dancer with her husband. Upon the retirement of Mr. Larimore from General Motors, they traveled to most of the continental United States prior to settling in South Carolina. Annie was a prior resident of the Gaston community and Hulon Green prior to her admission to Agape Senior Care, West Columbia.

The family would like to thank the staff of Agape for the wonderful care of Annie over the past 2 years. Memorials may be made the Agape Senior Foundation, in care of Lisa Livingston, 1053 Center Street, West Columbia, SC 29169.

Annie is survived by her son, Bruce Larimore of Columbia, daughter-in-law, Patty Hedges Larimore of West Columbia and her beloved dog, Penny. In addition, she is also survived by family members, James and Martha Larimore and John and Ethel Sabatz, and many nieces and nephews in Michigan. She was predeceased by her husband, Russ Larimore, Sr. son, Russ Larimore, Jr. and daughter Sheila Hite.
