Beverly “Bebe” Swinson was born on October 4, 1951, in the mountains of Toccoa, GA, to the late Weldon and Vidie Hosea. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas Hosea, Larry Hosea, and Ricky Hosea, as well as her grandson, Jacob Fincher.
She is survived by her sisters, Gail Robb (Larry) and Evelyn Hosea; her son, Zane Garrison (Sharla); her grandchildren, Brianna Poage (Bobby), Kaitlin Garrison, Ryan Garrison, and Hailey Garrison; her great-grandson, Elliot Poage; her daughter, Kelly Weed (Clint); her grandchild, Christian Fincher; and her great-grandchildren, Ava and Addy Fincher.
Beverly spent her early childhood in Toccoa before her family moved to Gloverville, SC, where she graduated from high school. She then attended college in Orangeburg, SC, earning her certification as a radiology technician. After starting her career at Orangeburg Hospital, Beverly went on to work at Aiken Hospital for 30 years before retiring to Lexington.
A faithful believer in Jesus and an active member of Mill City Church of Cayce, Beverly loved sharing her faith with others. She enjoyed NASCAR, football, playing cards, gardening, and studying U.S. and family history. She will be remembered for her fierce determination, her love for others, and her spicy disposition.
Visitation will be held at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170, on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow the service at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.
