LEXINGTON - Funeral services for Billy Edward Puckett, 82, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Puckett was born February 26, 1931 in Carroll County, GA and entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 2, 2013. He was the son of the late Felton and Tiny Puckett. He was a veteran serving his country in the United States Army.
Mr. Puckett is survived by his wife of 59 years, Vera Huffstetler Puckett; children, Vickie (Don) Brock of Pelion, Terry (Wanda) Puckett of Swansea, Rita (Joe) Stephens of Moncks Corner, Tony Puckett of Lexington, Mike (Pam) Puckett of Orangeburg and Bonnie (Jake) Sox of Lexington; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great- grandchild; sisters, Carol (Bill) Lashley of Villa Rica, GA and Connie Reeves of West Point, GA.
