Bonnie R. Russell

To know Bonnie was to love her. She met no stranger and opened her doors to anyone and everyone with a smile on her face and nothing but love in her heart. Bonnie worked in the Road Construction industry for most of her life and was proud that she operated a roller! Though she was proud of that, nothing beat her greatest achievement in life, her only child, Edward Thomas Russell. Edward passed away on June 1st, 2020, but Bonnie made sure to keep his memory alive and never missed a moment to share stories about him.

In addition to Edward Russell, she was also predeceased by both of her parents. She also unfortunately lost her nephew, David Jones, two days prior to her passing on April 18th, 2025.

She is survived by her brothers, Richard Roach and Randy Roach; her two sisters, Sheila Shaw and Susan Anderson; grandchildren, Hunter Russell (Jessica), Payton Russell (Cameron), and great grandchild, Roselyn Clemmons; as well as her nieces and nephews: Brandy Roach, Amanda Smith, Reba Smith, Brandon Roach, Jason Roach, Chris Felder, Frank Shaw, Gwen Shaw and Ashley Jones.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.
