LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Brent L. Hamlin, Sr., 70, of Lexington, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 13, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with entombment in Southland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Mr. Hamlin was born August 16, 1943 in Redmond, Oregon to Erwin D. Hamlin and Florence Chapin and passed away on Saturday March 8, 2014. He was a Contractor for many years and a loving husband and father. He loved his Clemson Tiger football and watching Nascar races on Sundays. Life will not be the same without him. He will be greatly missed.
Mr. Hamlin is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, Brent Hamlin, Jr. (Maria), James Hamlin (Patti), Grant Gratrix (Rossana) and Jeffery Gratrix (Quitha); daughters, Patricia Hamlin Khattab, Cynthia Hamlin Lambert (Barry) and Melissa Hamlin (HardRock); grandchildren, Kristina, Matthew, Jennifer, Brittney, Lindsay, Amber, Sara, Ameerah, Amanda, Hector, Alondra and Rocky; a great-grandchild, Cheyenne and brother Grant Hamlin.
