He is survived by his 7 children; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; as well as 4 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Services for Carl Balo, Sr., will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with burial to follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gideon’s Auxiliary.
Carl, dad and grandpa will be missed by all.
