Carol A. Engelhardt, 64, passed away on June 24, 2026. Born in Alexandria, VA on March 8, 1962, she was the daughter of the late George Hall and Geneva Adair Hall. Carol lived in West Columbia, South Carolina.
Carol was a graduate of Airport High School and the University of South Carolina, where she proudly participated in the marching band—an experience that reflected her steady dedication and the quiet joy she found in being part of something meaningful.
For 47 years, Carol served as an administrative assistant with Builders First Source. Through decades of faithful work, she was known for the kind of dependable care that makes a workplace run smoothly and helps others feel supported.
Carol is survived by her husband of 31 years, Wilburt Engelhardt; her step son, Kenneth Engelhardt; and her step grandchildren, Kensley and Kenny, Jr.
In her personal life, Carol found happiness in traveling, painting on the phone, and gardening. She especially loved her flowers, tending to them with the same gentle, attentive spirit that shaped the way she cared for those around her.
