WEST COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Carolyn L. Stone, 80, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Broad Acres Baptist Church, 2350 Taylor Rd., Cayce, SC 29033, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Stone was born June 9, 1937 in Hickory, NC and passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Catherine Bowman and Earl Bumgarner and was the wife of the late William A. Stone.
Mrs. Stone is survived by, daughter, Carol Cline; sons, Kenneth (Cathy), Timmy (Jeanie), Thomas and James "Fudd" (Vanessa) Stone. Mrs. Stone is survived by 9 grandchildren, Joseph, David (Heather), Jackie, Chrissy (James), Jamey, Greg, Avery, Nicole (Patrick), and Tiffany (Zach): nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Stone is also survived by sisters, Earleen Mingus, Linda Lail and brother, Dean Bumgarner. She is predeceased by her parents, husband and sister, Becky Winebarger; granddaughter, Miranda Gunter; grandson, Bryon Stone and son-in-law, Robert Cline.
Pallbearers will be Joseph and David Cline, Greg Stone, Avery Gunter, Jamey Stone and James Stewart.
Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
