Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, 15 August 2022 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens, adjacent to the chapel. The family will receive visitors at 4801 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC after the burial.
Mrs. Hancock is survived by her husband, Floyd Wesley “Joe” Hancock; a sister, Mazel Russ; many nieces and nephews, including Betty B. Enlow and Sheila J. Butler of Lexington, SC; two great nephews, Jason Hubbard "Trick" of San Francisco, CA, and Charles Enlow of Wilmington, DE, who were like grandsons to her. She was predeceased by sisters, Rosalyn Russ McDaniel, Mabel Kelly, Opal McDaniel, Shirley Poole, Alma Russ, Salem East and Hazel Russ Hughes; brothers, Clinton Russ, Clifton Russ, Otho Russ, and William “Wilton” Russ.
