WEST COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Charles Samuel “Sammy” Aldridge, 76, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the State Street Baptist Church Building and Renovation Fund, 1420 State St., Cayce, SC 29033.
Mr. Aldridge was born October 31, 1940 in Monroe, NC the son of the late, Marshall Settles Aldridge and Lucy Lee Long Aldridge and passed away Monday, April 10, 2017. He was a member of the State Street Baptist Church. He served our country in the US Navy and was a retired Truck Driver and Mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Martha B. Aldridge; daughter, Jayne Seboe of Gilbert, SC; stepsons, Ivy C. Williams of West Columbia, Norris Kelly Williams and Timothy Williams both of Gaston, SC; stepdaughter, Cynthia Hunton of Columbia, SC; sisters, Betty Wolfe of Cayce, SC and Teresa Cumbie of Myrtle Beach, SC; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
