Charles M. Campbell

Charles Mitchell Campbell, age 83, of Gaston, SC passed away on Sunday, September 17th, 2023. He was born in Albemarle, NC on August 18th, 1940 to the late Charles J. Campbell and Margaret Jane Kinley.

Mr. Campbell worked in the textile industry as a supervisor for 35 years for Springs Industry. He enjoyed fishing and teaching his grandbabies to fish and how to get into trouble. His grands meant the world to him and he loved them all dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Linda A. Campbell; children, Charles “Rick” Campbell , Thomas “Tommy” Campbell (Susie), Mariea J. Mishoe, Julie A. Henline, and James “David” Richburg; brothers, JD Campbell (Thelma), grandchildren, Matthew M. Campbell (Della), Kayla Lower (Josh), Rachel N. Henline (Corey Booth), Austin Mishoe (Kelsey), Todd Eric Henline, Jr. (Gabie), Emalee Richburg, Matthew Richburg, Andrew J. Henline, and Chloe E. Campbell; four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Campbell is predeceased by brothers Robert, and Jerry Campbell; sisters, Norma Jones and Betty L. Taylor, and daughter-in-law, Anne Campbell.

A visitation will be held for Charles at 11:00 AM on Friday, September, 22nd, 2023 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel located at 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170 followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. A burial will take place after the service at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.
