He was predeceased by his parents, Ashton A. Shuler and Nezzie H. Shuler. He is survived by his (step) daughter, Beth (Bergus) Mixon; granddaughter, Brittany (James) Stukes; great- granddaughters, Sophie and Nellie Stukes; his sister, Eva S. Williams; along with cousins, nephews and nieces.
Danny served in the U.S. Army and then retired after 56 years at Shuler Plumbing Company. He enjoyed working in his garden, woodworking, leather working and spending time with his girls. Danny was a kind hearted man who would do anything to help someone. He was patient and loved showing his family new things. He would light up a room with his bright blue eyes. Heaven truly got another angel. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. We love you Pop. Thank you for the past 47 years of love, memories, and all of life's lessons.
A visitation will be held Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, South Carolina 29170. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 2491 Emanuel Church Road, West Columbia, South Carolina 29170.
