OBITUARY
David "Gene" E. Mosteller
May 27, 1956 – August 6, 2021

David Eugene “Gene” Mosteller, 65, was born May 27, 1956 in Greenville County, SC and was a resident of Lexington, SC. Mr. Mosteller passed away on August 6, 2021. He was the son of the late Corine Brown and Thomas A. Mosteller.
He loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and served in the following ministry areas in the churches where he was a member: Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Director, Royal Ambassadors (RA) counselor, volunteer youth director and deacon.
He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed being outdoors especially when it included hunting and fishing. He held several positions during his working career but found the most satisfaction in steel fabrication and welding.
Mr. Mosteller is survived by his wife, Connie Mosteller; son, Josh Mosteller (Charley); daughter, Jessica Mosteller; son, Justin Mosteller; and grandchildren, Joshua and Keira; and siblings, Dwayne Mosteller (Jean), Jerry Mosteller (Cathy) and Ann Rish (Mike). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The service will be viewable via livestream on Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel’s Facebook page.
