A graduate of Airport High School, Lois was known by all who loved her for her generous spirit and deep commitment to her family and friends. Alongside her beloved husband, Jimmy, she built a life centered on family, love, and shared adventures. Her greatest joy in life was her granddaughters, who affectionately called her Nanny, and each held a special place in her heart.
Nothing gave Lois more satisfaction than tending to her garden and meticulously caring for her yard, taking immense pride in watching things grow and bloom. She loved traveling, especially spending time outdoors frequenting camping spots in the mountains and holding a special affection for the magic of encountering snow. She found great joy in crafting, challenging friends and family to card games, and passionately pulling for her South Carolina Gamecocks.
Lois is survived by her loving husband, James “Jimmy” Woodard; her children, Travis Driggers, Tracy Driggers, Holly Gray, and James Woodard; her granddaughters, Katie McLemore, Abby Davis, Riley Gray, and Raelyn Driggers; her great-granddaughter, Delilah McLemore; and her sister, Barbara Murphy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Kyzer and Kenneth Jeffcoat, and her brother, Jerry Jeffcoat.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Lois's life will be held on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, located at 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.
