Deloris Gantt Richardson, 82, of West Columbia, South Carolina, passed away on April 3, 2025. Born December 16, 1942, in Columbia, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late George Bell and Grace Kempson Gantt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Richardson; brother-in-law, Don Norris; and nephew, Troy Norris.
Deloris is survived by her sister, Marilyn Gantt Norris; nephew, Brian Patrick Norris; cousins Deborah and Ken Banks, Bob Hoffman, Lisa Langley; and her beloved cat, Sweet Pea.
A retiree of the SC Commission of the Blind, Deloris loved shopping and traveling. She was talented in playing piano, knitting, cross-stitching, and quilting. Her kindness and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service for Deloris will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Caughman Harman Funeral Home - West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170, with a reception to follow.
