PELION - Funeral services for Donald E. Brock, 68, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2016, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. prior to the service. The Rev. Gene Rowell will conduct the services.
Mr. Brock was born February 5, 1947 in Cheraw, SC and passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. He was a son of Robert William Brock and Marguerite Brock. Mr. Brock served our country in the US Armed Forces. He was a member of Gantt Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Vickie Brock of Pelion; sons, Donald Brock, Jr. of Martinsburg, WV, Richard Brock of Greenville, SC, Robert Brock of Oceanside, CA, Ryan Miller of Lexington; daughter, Candace Hartley of West Columbia, SC; sisters, Jean Dickens of Graniteville, SC and Cheryl Brigman of Wallace, SC; brother, James T. Brock and Jerry Brock of Lexington; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
