LEXINGTON – A memorial service for Douglas Sharpe, 74, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2012 at Southland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. The service will be conducted by Ronnie Addy. The family will receive friends after the service in the Mausoleum Chapel. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel is assisting the family.
Mr. Sharpe was born April 5, 1938 in Hampton, SC and passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2012. He was a son of the late Walter Sharpe and Corrine Nix Sharpe. Mr. Sharpe was a member of Jehovah witnesses. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and was a Motorcycle Mechanic with Honda.
Mr. Sharpe is survived by his wife, Frances Smith Sharpe of Lexington, SC; son, David Sharpe of Charleston, SC and sister, Gloria Sharpe of Atlanta, GA.
