Ed was a Landing Signalman in the United States Navy. He served on the USS Hornet. After his service in the Navy, Ed attended West Virginia University and graduated with a Masters Degree in Psychology. Ed retired as Vice President of Human Resources of General Electric’s Plastic Division. He was a lifelong golfer and an avid reader.
Ed is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Creech Seibert; his two sons, Mark Seibert (Andrea) of Dickinson, North Dakota and Rhett Seibert of Columbia, South Carolina; two sisters, Margy Bell of Canton, Ohio and Roberta McCreary of Stuart, Florida.
In addition to his parents, Ed was predeceased by brothers, Jim Seibert and Bob Seibert. A private family service will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025.
