Elizabeth worked for the University of South Carolina and retired in 1998. She loved going to the beach and talking to people. She was a die hard Days of Our Lives fan and also enjoyed theater and dressing up.
She is survived by her husband, Greg Cantrell; sons, Joey Ruzensky, Jacob Ruzensky (Sara), Nick Ruzensky, Jason Cantrell (Angie), and Joshua Cantrell (Kayce); grandchildren, Cohen and Sarah-Katherine Cantrell, Tyler and Bridgett Williamson, Baker Ruzensky, and Whitley Ruzensky; sister, Holly Dunkin (Greg); and brother, Steven Herring (Diane).
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Jodi Herring and Milena Herring.
A visitation will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM, with entombment to take place at Southland Memorial Gardens - Mausoleum.
