Elizabeth Ann Greene

Elizabeth Ann Greene, 91, beloved mama of Deborah Adkins, Sandra Felder, Andrea Greene, and Lisa Ann Greene, went home to be with Jesus on June 10th, 2024 surrounded by all of her family. We will miss her greatly. She was a retired “top” typist from J.H. Harland. Our mama was a hard-working woman who loved her family.

Elizabeth was born in Calhoun County on March 11, 1933 and was one of nine children born to her parents. She was a huge Wheel of Fortune fan and she loved cowboys and horses.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, Debbie, Sandee (Robert), and Lisa; grandchildren, Ashley Adkins Joiner, Robert Ray Felder (Tori), Matthew Ryan Felder (Kaitlen), and Andrew Rhett Felder (Cheyenne); great grandkids, Pierce Adkins, Kaia, Lainey Rose, Rodney, Leo, and our not yet here, Brixlee Felder; sister, Grace Whittaker of Lexington; two brothers, David A. Barton of Saint Matthews and Robert E. Barton of Summerville; and her long-time companion, Robert Sanders.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ray Greene; daughter, Andrea K. Greene; parents, William B. Barton, Sr. and Willie Mae Agnes Barton; two sisters, Jacqueline Furtick Anderson and Margaret Cranke; and her three brothers, William “Boo” Barton, Jr., Sammy Barton, and Raymond Barton.

We will have a visitation from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 13th at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.

Going Home Service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 14th at Central Church of the Nazarene, 100 S. Woodside Parkway, West Columbia, SC, 29169, followed by a burial at Southland Memorial Gardens, where she will be laid to rest at our daddy and sisters side.

There will be a meal provided for all family members at the church afterwards.
