Mrs. Steele was always like my second Momma when I was growing up. I fondly remember all the good times our families had together. Especially at the lake and the ball field. We really had some great times. She was such a sweet and genuine lady. I have thought of her so many times. All of y’all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Aunt Ellen was truly one of a kind! She welcomed me as part of the family with open arms. I loved to hear her call Barron "Barry" with her special South Carolina twang. She had such a joy for life and was a true inspiration to all who met her. I know Kay welcomed her with open arms at Heaven's door. We will all miss her but the memories will always be in our minds and in our hearts.
Blessings,
Natalie

I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Ellen it is hard to pick just one. For me, my fondest memory is her love for the Lord, love for her family, and her joy in living her oh so beautiful life.

Even though she is no longer in this physical world, she lives on in my heart garden forever. I will always be smiling whenever I think of her.

I remember being about seven or eight and going to Nana Ellen's house on steel drive. We were sitting at her kitchen table and she asked me if I wanted to look in her candy bowl. I remember running around her yard and playing. My mama Linda link was a customer of Ellen for years and my grandmother Girly was Ellen's best friend. I love you so much Nana Ellen you will forever be in my heart. Enjoy your new home.
