WEST COLUMBIA - Emily C. Coleman, a friend and mother of five, passed on April 6, 2015 after a long illness. She was born in Waynesboro, GA but lived most of her life in South Carolina. She will be joining her sister, Joy Chester from Lexington, SC and her parents, William A "Bill" and Madell Chester from North Augusta, SC.
She is survived by her five children, Kathy Shore of Holliston, MA, her husband, Bob and children Laura and Anna Dellicker, Jan Coleman of Greenwood, SC. Tina Coleman of Waltham, MA., Tad Coleman of Aiken, SC, his wife Sharen and their children Chad and MaRickie and her husband, Lee, Brad Coleman of Cayce, SC, his wife, Joni and children Tanner and Sydney. Her great-grandchildren are Brantley, Natalie, and Mason, Josh and Charity of Aiken,SC.
Emily retired from Blue Cross in 2002.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April, 8, 2015 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1717 Platt Springs Road, West Columbia, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home West Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.
