George "Buck" E. Wicks Jr.
April 25, 2021
I worked with Bucky for 20 plus years at Estes, and I can honestly say, I have never seen him had a disagreement with anyone at the terminal. He was humble, a very kindhearted Gentleman, it's very rare to find someone like that in the freight business, but Bucky was one of a kind.We are going to miss Buck. RIP

I feel honored to have known him and the impact he made on me and other drivers .. bucky was an awesome driver . His personality was unmatched and he was dedicated to all he did. We worked hard back then but it was worth it ...

I grew up on Lynn Street and Randall drive with Wanda and George Wicks as neighbors... I remember going to work and heard of George Srs. death .. baby Josh was 10 months old (maybe). Bucky and Ray along with Scott and Teaka were all my friends .I worked with Bucky and Rays mama and Frank and my dad worked together. Now Teaka and her family live right down the road from me ( small world). Bucky was always shy but very sweet you will be missed my friend I know your mom and dad were wait for you at those Pearly Gates in Heaven.. RIP Bucky 😭

I work with Buck for many years at Estes and he was always the quietest driver in the crowd and believe me there is a lot of noise around a terminal from equipment to the drivers. He was always liked by all our customers and fellow employees. God be with you Buck.
