Ms. Herron retired from USC School of Medicine. She was an avid Gamecock fan, fiercely independent, and was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling and decorating for each season.
Ms. Herron is survived by her son, Todd G. (Angela) Herron; grandchildren, Trace and Alexis; a brother, Ricky Odom; a nephew, Eric (Anniece) Murray and nieces, Angela (Edgar) Alvarado and Lynn Murray. She was predeceased by two sisters, Elsie Murray and Pam Bond.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment to follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the funeral home.
